BUYING A WATER PURIFIER. (PART 2: )
In earlier posts I have been talking a little about my own health journey but I have gone into more detail regarding the present upgrade to my ''whole-of-house" water purification system for my home.
To many of you reading this post, perhaps for the first time; may not be aware that I am semi-retired and previously worked as a water quality technician with "The Water Quality Laboratory" in Sydney, Australia. (My own private business) This has given me good insight into the workings of the water industry and a good understanding of the science of hydrology and water treatment. A few of my friends and colleagues also work for local water authorities throughout NSW and have been a great resource of information to assist me in updating and posting relevant articles for this FB page.
These technicians, who deal with and treat water everyday, are well aware of the potential health risks in the water. They also know the chemicals that are used to filter and treat the raw water are highly toxic and very poisonous and corrosive to all organic and inorganic matter.
We have all installed full 'whole-of-house' systems.
Are you aware, that presently, there are very little protocols or major treatment infrastructure in place to eradicate the growing health risk from designer drugs, antibiotics and mood depressant/stabilizers that are floating in our drinking water supplies. Many fear that this will become a major pandemic within the next decade.
HOW MUCH DO I SPEND ON A WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM?
You have to first sit down and do a reconsider about what YOU PERSONALLY THINK, constitutes clean water. SAFE and CLEAN actually look like the GRAND CANYON on a scientific data sheet. A mile apart in some cases.
When your water authority says, "THE WATER IS SAFE", what
they really are saying is:
We send you CHEMICALLY TREATED WATER that meets the guidelines set out by the government. If the water treatment meets the guidelines criteria then it is considered SAFE. If the public wants CLEAN WATER then they also have a responsibility to assist in making sure that CLEAN WATER is provided to the home. What does that mean?
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU READ 1356 PAGES OF WATER GUIDELINES???
If you are serious about having clean, healthy water for your family that is both SAFE and FREE from all organic and inorganic particulates and will stop BIO-ACCUMULATION in your body then you need to invest in proper water purification for the home.
I would like to suggest that perhaps, most people are not fully aware of the real situation and so don't take the water situation seriously. Many consider water filters like toasters or microwaves. The majority of homes that buy and install filters in Australia would spend no more than $250.00. The average would be about $180.00. People then forget the systems are there and don't change the filters. 60 to 70% of the homes that I tested, had dirty non-functioning filters and were actually getting more nasties being released from particulate congestion from the expired filters.
My system costs $2600.00. I take the water contamination issue very seriously. My own personal health testimony confirms that by changing over to purified drinking water and installing a filtered shower water unit played a major part in healing many of my health conditions and getting rid of the psoriasis/eczema that was on my skin.
If you are in a rental situation you can still invest in very good shower/bath filters and 7 to 8 stage portable water purifiers.
WATER PURIFIERS SHOULD BE AN INVESTMENT INSTALLATION like solar power or air conditioning.
In a new home you can get them installed during the building process and in an existing home they can be installed in stages in various parts of the home.
We are living longer but getting sick earlier and the rates and increase of cancers continue.
IF YOU INGEST TOXIC CHEMICALS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, YOU WILL EVENTUALLY GET SICK. IF YOU INGEST DRUGS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, YOUR BODY WILL EVENTUALLY DEVELOP IMMUNITIES & EXPERIENCE PHYSIOLOGICAL / PYSCHOLOGICAL EVENTS.
My humble opinion.
