This report came in just yesterday on the possible danger of taking Warfarin.
“Emergency physicians might want to check to see if patients with diabetes who come into the hospital after falls or other events are taking warfarin. People who take this common drug for type 2 diabetes may be at risk for serious drug interactions if they add the blood thinner to the mix. Researchers report that patients who take a class of diabetes drug called sulfonylureas experienced a higher incidence of hospitalizations and emergency department visits for falls, confusion, hypoglycemia, and insulin shock.”
Here’s that link again.
It interested me because I remembered Sang Whang, author of Reverse Aging discovering alkaline ionized water after being prescribed warfarin. He subsequently gave up all medications (Not that we are recommending this, mind!)
“A team from the University of California in Los Angeles found that warfarin intensifies the effects of the sulfonylureas and cause blood sugar levels to plummet. The effect is that patients seem drunk, light-headed, and confused – and at risk for falls and injuries as well as insulin shock.”
And only now, after 14 years on the water ourselves, have we learned that what was most likely to be supporting Sang Whang’s successful move away from his prescribed medications was the molecular hydrogen in the water.
Erica Whisson, our inhouse naturopath, collaborated with biochemist Tyler LeBaron, principal of the Molecular Hydration Foundation to produce this condensed introduction to the benefits of H2. In it you’ll find reference and links to scientific studies on the effects of molecular hydrogen on diabetes.
