Instructions

Turn the faucet/tap off (or water supply)
Unscrew the clear filter cover from the black base.
Discard the water inside the filter.
Remove (pull off) the used filter and replace it with the new replacement filter.
Apply a thin layer of Vaseline or a natural alternative to the external threads on the clear housing and a thin layer to the bottom face of the clear housing that screws onto the black o-ring in the base.
Screw the clear filter cover on firmly, do not overtighten.
Turn on the water, and check for leaks.
Flush the filter for 10 minutes.
